Marquees - Hyde Park Marquee Hire Christchurch

Having a marquee for your next event gives you the freedom to really make an impact; you're not tied to specific colours, locations or caterers. You can have your event wherever you want. A secluded garden; a high country station; your family property or your workplace... Staging your event in a marquee is a flexible, unique and creative way to go!

Marquees are the perfect 'blank-canvas' option. We provide you with a plain white background that you can dress in the style, colour and theme of your choice.

Hyde Park Hire offers a comprehensive range of both clipframe and peg & pole marquees.

Marquee Options:

  • Clipframe marquees - these are free standing marquees that can be installed on any level surface and are essential if you need to create a venue on concrete or very close to an existing building.
  • Peg & Pole marquees - these have centre poles that we wrap in white silk and can be decorated. They are a more traditional wedding marquee look, and need a bit more space, as they have strops around the perimeter. They are only suitable for installation on grassed areas.
  • Silk linings - Silks are a simple way of adding elegance to your event, both the roof and walls can be lined.
  • Clear walls - these allow natural light inside the marquee, bring the outside in and allow the guests to admire the beauty of their surroundings.
  • Lighting - we have chandeliers, flood lights, uplights (can be coloured) and great contacts in the specialist lighting industry if you need something else

At Hyde Park Hire we are proud of our marquee stock and we do our best to keep it looking as clean and white as possible.
Our marquees are hand cleaned between each hire.
